Warranty
The warranty period for the above system is for ___ year(s) and commences on the date of completed installation of
the floor. Multiple systems installed on the floor are explained in section 2.   Installer warranty obligation is limited to
providing repair or replacement at our option, of coated areas where bond failure (peeling or delaminating) occurs, as
a result of improper preparation or installation of the floor.
          *** Failure to make PAYMENT IN FULL will result in this warranty becoming NULL and VOID. ***

Warranty coverage for floors with multiple systems
Unless otherwise stated in quote, Shotblast, Power Grind and Recoat Floors with multiple systems are warranted as
follows: 125 mil systems are warranted for three (3) years; 65 mil Cri-Vapor Block systems are warranted for two (2)
years; 60 mil systems are warranted for one (1) year; 26 mil to 40 mil systems for one (1) year. No warranty coverage
is offered for systems less than 26 mils.
Re-Coated floors are warranted for adhesion to the existing system only, not to the original substrate.

Warranty Limitations and Exclusions
Exterior work will not be included in the warranty. Coating of any metal is not covered under this warranty. Installer will
have no further warranty obligation if the floor is subjected to abuse, neglect, misuse, or accident. Due to the
penetrating nature of the primer and the self leveling nature of the epoxies and urethanes used, the thickness of the
system is based on an average dry film thickness of the system, or ADFT.
Criterion Flooring Systems, LLC is in the business of installing safe, durable and low maintenance flooring systems.
Aesthetics, including but not limited to color matching and gloss, are not covered under this warranty.
Criterion Flooring Systems, LLC will not be responsible for drainage, pitch, slope or pooling.

Responsibilities of the Owner
It is the responsibility of the owner to notify Criterion Flooring Systems of any warranty related claim in writing within 5
days of discovery. Furthermore, the owner must take reasonable care not to allow the problem area to become worse.

Specifically excluded is damage caused by:
       Floor dulling as a result of:
A) Use of material such as oil-dry or speed-dry or other abrasive cleaners or solvents.
B) Use of floor cleaning machines with abrasive or hard bristles. (Only soft machine polishing bristles should be used.
Cleaning with Cri-Clean 3000, mild scrubbing broom and squeegee is recommended for daily cleaning).
C) Not following Criterion’s recommended floor cleaning instructions (Copy provided at time of installation).

Installer is not responsible for:
A) Scratching or gouging caused by dragging heavy objects across the floor or chipping from impact of heavy objects
being dropped on the floor.
B) Movement in the concrete that results in the reappearance of surface cracks.
C) If Cri-Vapor Block 4000 is not included in the installation: Blistering and or delamination of the coating due to
hydrostatic pressure (water coming up to the surface of the concrete due to pressure variances above and below the
concrete slab), vapor transmission (trapped water, possibly introduced by a void in the system, wicking up from the
concrete slab) or other osmotic conditions are not warranted.
D) Floor dulling or becoming hard to clean due to break down as a result of using ENZYME based cleaning products.
E) Damage caused by tire chains (we recommend the use of protective drive mats).
F) Damage caused by battery boil over.
G) Staining of the floor because of Plasticized migration from certain tires.

Exclusion or Disclaimer of Implied Warranties of Merchantability and Fitness for Purpose.
This is Installer’s sole warranty with respect to the floor. INSTALLER MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY OF ANY KIND
WHATSOEVER, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED; AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS
FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE WHICH EXCEED THE AFORE STATED OBLIGATION ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED BY
INSTALLER AND EXCLUDED FROM THIS AGREEMENT. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL INSTALLER BE LIABLE
FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
      This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state
to state.
